Luxury Event Decor at Titanic Hotel Liverpool: A Winter Gala Transformation
Designing luxury event decor at Titanic Hotel Liverpool requires more than decoration, it demands a considered approach to atmosphere, scale and guest experience.
This winter charity gala saw us transform the iconic Rum Warehouse into a fully immersive environment, showcasing our approach to corporate gala styling at Titanic Hotel Liverpool and how strategic design can completely redefine a space.
Event Decor at Titanic Hotel Liverpool: Working with Scale
The Rum Warehouse at Titanic Hotel Liverpool is one of the UK’s most striking large-scale event spaces. Its industrial architecture, expansive layout and dramatic scale make it ideal for awards ceremonies, charity galas and corporate events.
However, venues of this size come with a challenge, while visually impactful, they can often feel vast and impersonal without the right design approach.
For this event, the goal was not simply to style tables, but to create a cohesive, immersive winter environment that felt elevated, atmospheric and intentional from the moment guests arrived.
The Brief: A Luxury Winter Charity Gala Event Decor at Titanic Hotel
The client envisioned a winter-inspired gala with a refined palette of white and burgundy, enhanced with reflective lighting elements.
It was important that the design felt:
-
Seasonal, but not festive
-
Luxurious, yet welcoming
-
Impactful, without overwhelming the space
Our role was to translate this into a design that worked with the scale of Titanic Hotel Liverpool while creating intimacy within a large industrial setting.
The Design Concept: Modern Winter Elegance
Working with the natural darkness and architectural features of the venue, we introduced frosted whites to lift and soften the space, layered with deep burgundy tones to add warmth and depth.
Texture played a key role throughout:
-
Snow-dusted florals
-
Sculptural branches
-
Reflective surfaces
The result was a modern interpretation of winter styling, elegant, immersive and perfectly suited to a high-end corporate gala at Titanic Hotel Liverpool.
Designing the Guest Journey
Guest experience was central to the design.
The Arrival Space
The tall, light-filled foyer provided the first opportunity to set the tone. The staircase was dressed with white and burgundy florals to reflect the event branding, while clear acrylic plinths and easels displayed auction items.
This space was intentionally refined, a subtle introduction before the main reveal.
The Immersive Entrance Tunnel
To transition guests into the main event space, we created a fully immersive winter walkway.
Five layered arches formed a dramatic tunnel, dressed in:
-
Frosted foliage
-
Snow-detailed florals
-
Burgundy accents
Snow-drift bases, mirror balls and silver lanterns added depth and light reflection, while clusters of our frosted 3–4 metre silver birch trees created vertical impact and a sense of woodland scale.
This transitional moment built anticipation and encouraged guests to pause, capture content and fully experience the design before entering the main room.
The Main Space: Scale, Atmosphere & Focal Points
Beyond the tunnel, the full scale of the Rum Warehouse was revealed.
Thirty-five guest tables were arranged around a central 4-metre illuminated winter tree, the focal point of the evening.
Wrapped in over 200 metres of fairy lights and detailed with snow-inspired elements, the installation:
-
Anchored the space
-
Softened the venue’s scale
-
Created a natural gathering point
Wrap-around seating beneath the tree encouraged interaction, while tall illuminated centrepieces ensured the room retained height and presence.
The staging and LED screens were framed with oversized orb installations and neon flex lighting, introducing a contemporary edge while echoing reflective elements used throughout the design.
Every detail was layered intentionally, from lighting to texture, ensuring the space felt cohesive, immersive and considered.
