Sage Green Wedding Bliss at Meols Hall: A Match Made in Heaven!
Sage green is the colour scheme of the moment—and honestly, it’s not hard to see why! It’s a timeless classic that manages to be earthy and elegant at the same time. Plus, it plays nicely with most venues—like the perfect wedding guest who never steals the limelight but always makes a graceful impression.
Natasha and Jake chose this dreamy hue for their big day at the stunning Meols Hall, a venue that practically begs for a sage green palette. With its rustic features and natural textures, Meols Hall was the ultimate stage for this colour scheme to shine.
They opted for a twisted willow archway, beautifully adorned with delicate florals and twinkling fairy lights—because let’s face it, who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle? The top table was dressed with a lush floral and foliage garland, which later did double duty as the cake table decor. (We love a good repurpose—who says wedding decor can’t multitask?)
When it came to guest tables, Natasha and Jake went for a mix of designs to keep things interesting. Some tables featured charming clusters of silver birch vases, fairy lights in cute mini cloches, rustic log plinths, and plenty of leafy foliage to bring the outdoors in. Other tables showcased cylinder vases filled with the bridesmaids’ bouquets—a genius move to get double the mileage out of those beautiful blooms once the portraits were snapped.
It’s safe to say this sage green dream was truly a match made in heaven at Meols Hall. From the enchanting archway to the oh-so-versatile floral garland, every detail came together to create a day that was as unforgettable as it was beautiful.
