Last month, we had the absolute joy of creating an enchanted forest event design for Abodus Student Living at Woburn Center Parcs.
What began as a simple mood board, filled with moss, mushrooms, and woodland inspiration, evolved into a fully immersive event experience designed to surprise, delight, and completely transform the space.

Enchanted Forest Event Styling
For this project, we brought the enchanted forest theme to life through layers of texture, scale, and detail.
At the heart of the space stood a dramatic stage, framed with trailing foliage and bespoke stage flats that enveloped the twin projector screens. Towering 3 and 4 metre silver birch trees lined the backdrop, creating a natural canopy and adding height and impact.
Oversized sculptural mushrooms introduced a bold, surreal element, enhancing the immersive feel of the space.
Immersive Event Design in Every Detail
The front of the stage was transformed into a rich forest floor, built up with moss, foliage, and carefully layered florals.
Glowing mushrooms, soft lighting, and subtle movement from illuminated butterflies added depth and atmosphere, creating a space that felt alive and magical.
Every detail was considered to ensure the design felt cohesive from every angle.
Event Styling & Floral Design
Our floral design and styling are created entirely in-house, allowing both elements to be developed together as one seamless concept.
For the tables, we designed moss-covered candelabra centrepieces, layered with trailing ivy, floral clusters, and woodland-inspired details.
Each place setting was finished with a white reef charger plate and moss green napkin, ensuring the design flowed effortlessly throughout the space.
Even technical elements such as lighting plinths and stands were thoughtfully disguised with foliage and moss, ensuring nothing disrupted the immersive experience.
Enchanted Forest Event Design Experience
From the moment guests arrived, the experience began.
A twisted willow walkway, laid with natural grass and surrounded by florals, guided guests into the event. Oversized mushrooms, woodland props, and a curated forest soundscape created an atmosphere that felt completely transportive.
A majestic stag stood among the installation, guiding guests into the enchanted world beyond.
360° Immersive Event Installation
To create a truly immersive event design, the installation continued throughout the entire space.
At the back of the room, we extended the forest with trees, florals, and sculptural elements to create a full 360° environment.
A statement 4 metre enchanted tree, draped in fairylights, vines, and mushrooms, stood as the focal point of the room, drawing guests into the space.
