Coral Wedding Centrepieces & Colourful Reception Styling
When we first met Anna and Robert, one thing was certain from the very beginning, their wedding had to be full of colour. They wanted a joyful celebration that felt like summer, with vibrant coral tones taking centre stage, softened by pretty pinks and delicate hints of butter yellow so we set to work creating these coral wedding centrepieces.
The vision was bright, elegant and full of personality, creating a wedding that felt fresh, welcoming and completely unique to them.
One of the standout features of the day was the collection of coral wedding centrepieces we designed for both the ceremony and reception at Old Palace Chester. These statement floral arrangements were created in elegant footed bowls, overflowing with seasonal blooms to bring texture, movement and plenty of colour.
For the ceremony, the floral bowls lined the aisle and were displayed on draped plinths, framing the space beautifully and creating a striking first impression. After the ceremony, each arrangement was carefully repurposed onto the reception tables, transforming the room while making the most of the couple’s floral investment.
To complement the colourful centrepieces, we styled each table with an eclectic mix of glass candlesticks and tea lights. As the venue operated a strict no exposed flame policy, we used our elegant hurricane candle covers. Not only did these comply with the venue’s requirements, but the reflective glass added another layer of texture and sparkle, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere throughout the evening.
To complete the colourful reception styling, Anna and Robert chose our soft coral-toned linen napkins, perfectly echoing the florals, while blush blossom pink chair drapes added a romantic finish to the reception space. Every detail was carefully layered to create a design that felt vibrant, cohesive and effortlessly elegant.
This wedding is proof that bold colour can still feel timeless and sophisticated. By combining abundant floral design, thoughtful styling details and a carefully curated palette of coral, pink and butter yellow, Anna and Robert created a celebration that truly felt like sunshine in a bowl.
