Based on The Wirral, Sweetpea and Ivy are an established Wedding and Event Stylist run by mother and daughter team, Tamar and Amy Wilkinson. Amy (the daughter) is the Creative Director and Head Stylist, and Tamar is the Administrative Director; together they specialise in wedding and event styling in the North West of England and beyond.
Sweetpea and Ivy are dedicated to ensuring your event is like no other. We favour bespoke, off-beat and unusual designs that are custom made and distinctively tailored to your needs. We offer a personal service that is second to none and understand the importance of our clients’ input and imagination. Here at Sweetpea and Ivy we want your event to have your personal touch, and actively encourage our clients to get involved with the creative process.
We have years of experience styling venues and creating just the right atmosphere and feel for a whole range of special occasions. We have a huge array of props and décor for you to choose from, so you can mix and match styles to create your own bespoke look. Alternatively, you can opt for one of our packages and let us create it for you. Whatever you have in mind, we will work with you to create your dream event.
Meet the Team
Amy is the creative cog in the Sweetpea and Ivy machine. She has a degree in Theatre and Performance Design from The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. Amy has worked as a designer on countless shows around the UK and Europe, making her an expert at dressing venues and stages of all shapes and sizes. She has skills in the design and creation of props, costumes and models, and this experience is channelled into her role as Sweetpea and Ivy’s lead designer. She is nearly always found in the Sweetpea and Ivy design studio, making custom centre pieces and cake toppers, styling tables and shaping and crafting vintage paper bouquets. Amy’s passion, creativity and imagination will ensure that your ideas, however unusual or unique, become reality.
As well as her creativity (Amy had to get her artistic genes from somewhere!) and passion for all things vintage, Tamar brings us a wealth of experience in both project management and customer relations from her time running an independent property development company. She is dedicated to ensuring your Sweetpea and Ivy experience is not just enjoyable and inspiring but also hassle-free.
Colin is definitely the brains of the outfit. What he lacks in opposable thumbs, he more than makes up for in enthusiasm!
