Urban meets Woodland Wedding
Chris and Beckie contacted us about their upcoming wedding, which they were planning to have at Camp and Furnace in Liverpool. Certainly not your “traditional” wedding venue, Camp and Furnace is one cavernous warehouse, with brick walls, concrete floors, steel struts, a large furnace at one end and even three vintage caravans, casually parked about the place!
Chris and Beckie were very specific in their request that the wedding was to be a laid back affair, featuring the woodland/rustic décor they loved. We therefore created an urban meets woodland design, which highlighted this unusual juxtaposition of setting and décor. Log slices, with hessian and lace jam jars sat on them, were used as table centre pieces; each filled with white billowing Gypsophila, Eucalyptus and Chrysanthemum. The table numbers were created using moss, which was also used around the log slices. As Beckie is a singing teacher, we used vintage music sheet paper to create heart shaped confetti and mini roses for the tables, and butterflies in shades of green to dot around the venue. They also hired our vintage style photo wall to keep their guests entertained, personalised with their own family photos.
