Gareth & Hannah’s Vintage Marquee Wedding
Gareth and Hannah wanted a bright, fun themed wedding with a vintage twist. Gareth wanted his love of cinema included into the design so we concentrated on a 1920’s style – using 1920’s typography on the directional signs and photo props, which included film quotes, moustaches, lips, hats and glasses for the guests to play with. They hired a large marquee, which was erected in their back garden. Hannah also commissioned us to create a bespoke vintage brooch bouquet and personalised cake topper. They wanted a laid back and relaxed feel to the day with as little formality as possible, so the pretty bunting was hung along the entrance and driveway and then continued in to the marquee. The tables were scattered with vintage books (as Gareth is big into his reading), and lined with vintage glassware, candelabras and teacup candles. We filled wellies, wicker baskets, vases and jam jars full of gypsophila, sweet peas and roses.
